Car Problems That Set The Stage For An Accident

According to the National Safety Council, nearly 10 million auto accidents occur each year. Over 2 million people are injured during these accidents, and nearly 3 percent die. While a large majority of accidents occur as the result of driver error and alcohol use, a significant portion - some estimate it at over 10 percent - result from car problems. Moreover, many happen due to car problems that developed over time, and were never addressed by the vehicles' owners.

How Long Has Goodyear Tires Been Around?

In 1839 Charles Goodyear came up with the idea of vulcanized rubber. Years later a company formed by Mr. Seiberling was named to honor Goodyear's achievements in the field of the rubber and automobile industry. The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company has since then been one of the top tire companies in the world.

In Canada, anyone who operates a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or has a blood alcohol concentration 80 milligrams or above commits a serious criminal offense. Ontario is one province that has very strict laws regarding driving while impaired.
